The temporary car insurance will allow you to borrow or rent a vehicle when you are on holiday in France or the rest of the EEC and the vehicle you are using will be covered for the duration of the trip, no matter where you are.

If your family vehicle is too small for your needs, or if you think you need something a little more reliable for the trip, this insurance is useful. If necessary for your plans, you can even tow a trailer or a caravan and have them covered. Most temporary car insurance policies are comprehensive, although you need to look around and make sure that you are getting the best policy for your needs.
